Teresa & David’s Romantic Rustic Wedding

How did you two meet?

We have known each other since we were way younger, because David was first a friend of my brother, Matt. We reconnected later in life at a mutual friend’s wedding. We hit it off on the dance floor, and the rest is history!

Tell us how you got engaged. Is there a good story?

It was a normal Tuesday night (or so I thought). We had spaghetti–with his uncle Joe Leopre’s famous family recipe of marinara sauce. After dinner, we went on a bike ride. Because we were relatively new to the area, I didn’t know where Dave was leading me. We eventually made it water side, to Baycourt Park for watching the sunset. He ended up popping the question, and I was both shocked and overjoyed. Of course I said YES!

Romantic Rustic Garden

Where did you stop for photos other than your ceremony or reception?

We just took photos at Goldner Walsh.

Did your day include any DIY projects? Tell us about them.

Amazon all day! I didn’t really do DIY, but I always bought with the mindset of “what can I do with these later?” Therefore, I now have tons of candle votives around my house, centerpiece-like flower planters, lots of “R” décor, and about 50 more succulents. 😉
I plan to turn the 200 glass cups I bought into a DIY project-where I can resell items. But, we all know how that goes.
