Married on Mardi Gras

July 8, 2017

The celebratory ambiance of Mobile (the location of the original celebration of Mardi Gras) is a perfect backdrop for celebrations of love.  Fort Conde Inn, Mobile’s second-oldest house, sets the stage as a romantic backdrop for showcasing this season’s trend-setting couture wedding gowns.  The gowns feature illusion backs and bodices, intricate keyhole details and sleeves with delicate elements of lace and embroidery.

The trend setting greens coupled with the delicate accents of textured florals in various hues of lavender create stunning tablescapes for a rehearsal dinners and wedding receptions.  Classic place settings incorporate a mix of gold and silver tones which reflect an ambiance of timeless elegance.  The tables paired with clear acrylic ghost chairs, translucent menus with monogrammed accents and bubble vases – the perfect airy counterpoint to the lavish floral centerpiece.  A marbled five-tiered cake takes center stage beneath an exquisite floral ceiling on top of a stylish sequined cake stand.
